(Darin Gantt, [email protected]) Carolina Panthers quarterback span class=boldJimmy Clausen /spaninsisted Monday that he wasn't worried about his trouble handling snaps becoming a trend.p/Clausen was credited with three fumbles and two lost during Sunday's 20-7 loss to Cincinnati. In fairness, one of those belongs to running back span class=boldMike Goodson/span, but Clausen's hands were an issue.

jerk always throwing teammates under the bus....

He admitted Monday afternoon that both were his fault and that he needed to improve. But he denied that issues from training camp, including a week of problems with snapper Andrew Crummey, were a trend.

"Not really," he said with a shrug. "More in camp I was going with different centers. But Ryan (Kalil)'s a real good center, a Pro Bowl center.

"The first one was just a wet ball. I need to handle that. The second one I just pulled out. But he's getting the ball back there fine, that's on me."

damn get off of the kid...damn he isnt throwing anyone under the damn bus. calm down, give the kid a chance to prove something and let it go. if he continues to fumble multiple times a game for the next 3 games then fine get on him all you want. just give some of these kids a chance to play some ball

I know what you are trying to do there, but admittng your own mistakes isn't the same thing as taking the blame for your team's mistakes. Admitting your own mistakes is a no-brainer. In the past he was accused for blaming his mates in public when his mates messed up. And in this case it could have very well been his fault.

But he seems to be learning. He's deffinitley paying attention and that's a good thing. I just hope he doesn't let that affect his mojo. He needs to find a way to learn modesty in his own way, without losing your mojo and becoming overly cautious.
