How YOU would fix this franchise TODAY....

I would continue to let my D develop and build it with the draft

I would continue to let my young QB develop and not let him see any lack of confidence from me

I would continue to let my young WRs develop and build it with draft

I would continue to run the ball and look for the underneath routes

Anything more drastic than that would be undermining what is already in motion

Okay so enough blame, lets talk, if you were the President of the Panthers, and FAT CAT said go ahead, season is yours, what would YOU DO?

1) Fire John Fox and Staff the second he showed up for game fill tomorrow. Hire a BIG name coach, I don't care who, but hopefully someone who thinks in today's NFL world. Offense, Offense, Offense! Not this bull crap 3 and 6 draw, or punt at the opponent's 41. We need someone with balls, someone that wouldn't describe everything as "it is what is is" or "stats are for losers.." John Fox YOU are a loser.

2) Release Matt Moore before midnight. That scrub CANNOT absolutely contribute anything to this team at this point, the only reason why they "pretend" to have a QB controversy is that FAT CAT will pay Moore 3 million dollars to hold a clipboard, and 3 MILLION dollars to hold a clipboard is a highway robbery. Seriously what's he gonna teach as a backup? tell clausen and pike to lob balls into a cloud of DBs?

3) Use Goodson as a receiver only....YOU do not draft 1st round runningbacks and when the game is on the line, you use the 3rd string RB......what the hell is that?

4) Release Jarrett, that guy is a waste of space, activate Armanti and resign Kenny Moore.......I mean you can't do no worse than 0 catches, hell sign me I'll do just as good.

Much more......but that's a start

1. I agree outside of the D staff. Most importantly Fox.

2. Im gonna try to be as nice as possible. If Jimmy goes down then what.

With our O-line this is extremely possible if not probable. MM has proven to be a great back up. Please try to prove me wrong.

3. Goodson has been great on 3rd downs but not putting double trouble on the field is suspicious at best. Im starting to believe the conspiracy theories here. Your reasoning is...... still trying to be nice. You should tell Smitty that Jarret was drafted higher so he should get his a## on the bench. If that doesn't get the point across I can come up with about 300 other examples of first rounders that are outperformed by 3rd rounders-UDFA. Again I agree with your statement but your reason is so bad I almost forgot you were right.

4. Opinions are like failed posts. You have one.

1. Give Jeff Davidson more room in the play calling.

2. Let the team vote on the starting QB. Fox doesn't know who to put out there. Let the team decide who their most comfortable with. Clausen played alright but I think Moore got pulled too soon.

3. Keep Gettis at #2 and activate A. Edwards.

4. Start Greg Hardy.

5. Activate Eric Norwood

6. Sign a vet QB

7. More Goodson

8. More Deangelo

9. If Gross doesn't improve... put Wharton at LT, move Schwartz to LG, put Gross back at RT.

10. Get Otah's ass back on the field asap.

1) Can't do that today unless you want Davidson or Meeks taking over as IHC. I've been against getting rid of Fox until recently. I like his style of football, but I'm starting to question his game planning and how he prepares his players. I predict that in two games, the running game and the Oline will be back to the way we expected them to be. I don't understand why it seems to have taken us so long to be ready to play the past couple seasons. I vote for a young up and coming HC next year. McCoy or Fraizer.

2) That would be a rash move. Then you'd be paying him 3 mil to sit at home and eat cheetos. If something happened to Clausen then I'd still rather have Moore starting over Pike. I do agree he won't be back next year.

3) Agreed 100%. He's been our closest thing to a #2 WR this year. He reminds me a lot of Smith. Line him up and let Smith teach him.

4) Not a big fan of the idea, but I really can't argue against it. I'd like to see AE play.

Fire Davidson and possibly Scherer as well. Let Skipper or Tolbert run the O the rest of the year. Put DWill on the block, you don't sign running backs to new deals. I love Williams, but I keeps it real. Maybe trade Gross for the right price. Extend Kalil and Beason. Cut DJ/activate Edwards.

Hire an OC that isn't afraid to throw, but likes to run.... in the off-season. Use our first two draft picks on a big corner and an athletic OT.

I think Mike Martz would love to be a headcoach again. He loves dual threat backs, and with D-Will to act as his Marshall Faulk and J-Stew to hammer the middle, he would know exactly how to take the pressure off of a young QB like Clausen.

I say we go after the offensive genius. Look at what he's done with the Bears, Cutler is playing amazing after throwing 28 interceptions, and they still have no decent WR's.

crickets are chirping, what the hell is your point, that 26 of the STARTING NFL QUARTERBACKS are high draft picks or at least drafted and not some practice squad waiver material, I'm lost im not following you.

So you honestly believe that a persons draft order is the best indication of how good he is? You should tell that to Ryan Leaf and Tom Brady I'm sure they will be very interested in your new super duper form of draft grading based solely on draft order. Smitty himself made a statement about the league being made up of 3rd rounders to UDFA. Something about 1st and second round guys feeling "entitled" IIRC. I don't know what to tell you man. Call an exterminator about those crickets and watch some football not Sportcenter.

Hire Buerline as a QB coach/mentor/consultant

Man up with FOX -"you are gone at the end of the season - you can stay in some other capacity till then, but you are no longer the Head Coach - clear out your office and turn in your parking pass"

Man up with Davidson - "you are gone at the end of the season - you can stay in some other capacity till then, but you are no longer the OC - clear out your office and turn in your parking pass"

Ron meeks as IHC and his first order of buisiness is to find an OC

Didn't read what everyone else had to say but this is what I would do.

Fox knows how to do one thing, and if he has the right players, he does it well.

He doesn't have the players he needs right now and that's his fatal flaw. He is not adjusting to the talent that he has brought on and is trying to play a slow paced - out dated game plan.

Simply put. I would take advantage of the talent and use specific plays to highlight the strengths of the players we do have. stop using the same 5 players over and over and over
