Thats crap Squirrel, his money is already gone, he didn't get a deal, remember. How can you go into a game with a QB thats never started in the NFL and take advantage of the running game that our team is built around. We put the weight on Clausen instead of two RB's that ran for over 1100 yards a piece. We don't get the ball to Smith till late in the game. What other team does this? The Chiefs that won what, 4 gms last year...No only Fox

Your dumb. FYI.

I think that Fox is throwing this season. Maybe he's ticked that he was forced to get rid of Delhomme and that his contract wasn't renewed. Our gameplan gives a new meaning to the word basic, Offense and Defense. There is no way we can expect to win. There is no change to the game plan at any point durning the game, even after halftime. Every team has to alter their plan at some point, do something different, not us. Because Fox isn't trying to win. Look at the misuse of players, Smitty, DeAngelo, Stew even Jarrett. Yes I said Jarrett, he's not great at routes, but he has very good hands. We have to take advantage of the players on our roster. I wonder what our coaching staff will look like next season and who will we daft with the #1 pick.

If the players thought this was true, you could tell by the way they play, which by watching the defense, this obviously isnt true.. This idea is absurd. You don't get this far just to give up cuz you don't have your way. Fox is auditioning for his next job basically, so to say he is tanking the season is basically the little baby girl coming out of you screaming mommy mommy I'm not getting my way waaaaaaaa.

i don't care what reasoning you give...that would be stupid to do that and the whole idea that he would do that is way over on the ridiculous side of things. just because you might pull something like this doesn't mean any rational person would. i'm not a fox fan by any means but i'm not going to make him out to be stupid enough to throw away future money by tanking.

he wants a job somewhere in the future and he's not going to blow a chance with a team somewhere because he got a little pissy that he didn't get his way and decided to tank the season. no one is going to want to hire someone if they pull something like that. he's a lot of things but he's not stupid.

btw...you should probably change your title. voice of paranoia would probably be better. nothing you said sounded reasonable.

You seem like the one with the foil hat. Since you seem to have knowledge mere humans don't (perhaps relayed to you by some alien all prescient being), where exactly was Jimmy Hoffa buried and were there shots from the grassy knoll??

BTW I think his salary this year is 6 million bucks. This is his last year of his contract but he is getting tons of bucks to coach.

I have no knowledge that mere humans don't. This is a forum, full of opinions, suggestions, thoughts and just simply Carolina Panther talk. This is my opinion, my thought and my Panther talk. If you don't like so move to the next thread.

Yeah, maybe you are all right, and my simple thought is too far left. I can see your points of view. Fox is trying everything he can to possibly win. He makes sure that the ball gets in the hands of our playmakers numerous times a game. Playmakers like Steve Smith, D Will, J Stew. I see we threw the ball to Smith like what 4 times. I can see the changes he made at his halftime speech translate to the field. I really see your points, really. You guys are geniuses.

Fox isn't throwing the season. But he is mailing it in. He has the look of a man who doesn't really care about his current job because he has offers in somewhere else. None of our players are ready for the game, personnel decisions look half-hearted. At the end of the day he just doesn't care about the fate of this season or the development of our players because it's not going to be his mess to clean up next year.

i disagree.

Foxy looks more fired up this season than he has been in a couple years.

Honestly, I think Fox just enjoys coaching young, "weaker" teams.

This sounds ridiculous but the more I think about the more it seems like something I mean something is up. Couldnt put it together untill this look down, its really that he doesnt believe in adjustments so we fool noone.

I don't think he is throwing the season away, I think his style has been figured out and he refuses to change.

This will cost him no matter where he goes, because you have to be able to implement changes and adapt. He has shown he cannot adapt.

rep+ major major problem wish him well when its all said and done

I guarantee you that Fox is doing the best he can to "win". It doesn't make sense logically, that Fox would throw an entire season, ruining his own resume', thus hurting his chances of landing another coaching job. Richardson simply set him up to fail by cutting all the vets, giving us the youngest team in the NFL. I don't care if Bill Belicheck were our coach right now, we would still be 0-3. Richardson has a master plan in place, and I believe that plan is to bring in Bill Cowher, and play "Steeler Football."

Yeah the f**k right. We would be an easy 3-0 buddy we would have thrown more, earlier with Clausen to get him warmed up yesterday. Handled the bucs and the giants Bill makes adjustments per series once you show a weak spot they MURDER it ie checkdowns screens tight ends matched up againts weaker coverage players. You must not watch Bill if you think we wouldnt be undefeated with the adjustment master he knows how to coach through all situations.

This is not a team built to dominate anyone. We are going thru growing pains, Fox was given a bad hand and he is doing what he can do with it. We should be happy he is giving playing time to the more unknowns, which is something most people here complained he hasnt done in the past. The man is damned by you stupid meatballs either way. It kinda sucks football has become so popular, even the dummies talk out their asses about nothing.

<speculation>

Fox is intentionally putting this team in a bad situation until we get to a record where we can't possibly make the playoffs, at that point we will suddenly catch a spark and dominate some games and in general look like a team that could have made the playoffs and finish somewhere around 7-9 / 8-8. John Fox will cement his reputation as being able to hold a bad team together and get production from nobodies. He gets his next coaching gig based on that reputation and is able to give JR the finger at the same time.

</speculation>
