Not questioning your preference at all; but, Jim Harbaugh is a college coach,not a pro one, even if he did take handoffs a pro QB.

Cowher has a proven track record in the pros.

I do not want another college coach or a Coordinator wanna be. That's my preference.

I hear ya and neither do I ...... more college coaches fail and fail miserably than the ones who are successful. I much rather not try that experiment here. I prefer either Cowher, Gruden, and my first choice would be Dungy if we could talk him into it :-)

Now if the front office and people in the know really felt Harbaugh would be successful I would support it. They obviously got it right by not pursuing Spurrier when he was the hot prospect.
