You can make any arguments you want to suggest we aren't any worse off but the reality we are giving up more points, playing poorer against the pass. It isn't like you can say the offense is causing it with Jake being a turnover machine last year. Truth is that the defense is ranked 16th in yards, 23rd in points surrendered, 13th against the pass and 15th against the run. THe only bright spots are that we are 10th in the average yards per play allowed and tied with 5 other teams for 3rd on the list with 5 interceptions. Truth is we should have had 5 interceptions today alone.

The problem is that we are performing pretty poorly against teams which are much weaker than the ones we faced in the first three weeks last year yet our ranking is worse.

It is clear we are not close to the team we were last year and it isn't just a function of the individual talent that people want to point out. We don't have the chemistry and aren't playing well together. We give up too many third downs and today even gave up a fake punt for a first down.

Just my opinion, but I believe that what Moore had in 2007 & 2009 was nothing to lose, which allowed him to play relaxed & loose.

Once he had the pressure of being "The Guy", he crumbled.

DCs had an entire offseason to scout his tendencies. if you can't back it up with skill and going through progressions eventually these guys are going to find you out and make you look like poo

well i'm not sure what hurney has to do with developing talent, but i agree that identifying wide receivers hasn't exactly been a strength for hurney.

I'm afraid we are going to add QBs to that weakness as well.

i mean it's kinda stupid to say since there's no way you can argue it with any evidence either way but he just looked like a deer in headlights out of nowhere. I don't really believe DCs were able to put a blitz together that caused him to stroke out.

Well they got a lot of good years out of some scrub backup from New Orleans and at least 8 games of good qb from an undrafted free agent that was being sneaked onto the cowboys practice squad.

on the other hand this team drafted randy fasani and stefan lefors

basically what im saying is that qb is a complete crapshoot and no one is really either good or bad at it. for example belichick very nearly drafted tim rattay in 2000.

I agree. I think film and pressure really hurt Moore. Not to mention our entire o-line is playing like poo right now. Lots of problems on this team. Moore is just one of the scapegoats.

well when the panthers are bad it tends to make all the shitty posters go away and keep around only the people that somewhat know what they're talking about. now if i can just get pantherfanforlife to sperg out and rage quit we'll be in serious business.

secondly, there's always a very zen kind of calm that comes about me when i realize the panthers are just very bad and i can sort of mete that out to other aspects of my football life.

finally i got blown by some hot chick in the parking lot of a bar i hit up once i got back to atlanta from the game today and that chick could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.
