There are normally 3 types of mock drafts.

1. Predictive mock draft

2. What i would do mock draft

3. Different scenario mock draft

This mock draft was a mix of what they would do and a different scenario. They mentioned it plenty of times. Basically it was what they would do but in an attempt to give the viewers a different scenario than they have been seeing on majority of mock drafts. Basically this mock is a waste of time for most viewers that just want to see predictions based on what is being heard. 

I normally only watch mock drafts for opinions of players not where these guys think they will land. I normally hate the idea of trades in mock drafts though honestly speaking.

Yes--good points. I often (on the Huddle) post a prediction of what I think the Panthers might do--not what I would do.  Then you have some crack/crystal meth head sitting outside of a McDonalds for the free internet come out of the woodwork (Completely, for example) and try to argue as if they were my opinions.  It is dumb on a level few have ever seen and remained mentally unscathed.

You forgot the mocks where they screw over small market teams just to get big market teams good players

Warren is a good prospect in my eyes, great prospect in some other peoples eyes, but generational? i don't know about that. But that is just the opinion of a humble huddler. How would you sell me on Warren as a generational prospect?

No he is not a generational talent. There's not one in this draft. I like my odds on Warren.

Everyone can quit dreaming about Warren.  Canales doesn't utilize tight ends the way many of you think he would.  We take a TE in the top ten, he would have to be our #1 target for it to make sense, in Canales system TE is an afterthought

      1.  Edge Jalon Walker:  I have been skeptical of Walker's fit as I would be any hybrid type of player, but his strengths as a person and player and the flexibility he gives the DC is formidable. He gives us a LB who can covert to Edge or Edge who can convert to LB during "hurry up" offenses when you can't substitute.  Walker scares me, but you don't draft him if you can't see the fit.  At #8, we could do worse.  I am seeing more Micah Parsons than I did a week ago.  2.  CB Will Johnson: Too often we think of the third CB as depth or nickel because that is traditional thought.  In today's NFL, it is common to have 3 CBs on the field since the NFL has gone to 11 personnel --3 WRs, 1 TE--65% of the time, up from 55% in 2010; and if we have an injury to Horn or Jackson, there is not a lot we can do).  With Johnson and Horn on the outside and Jackson on the third WR, our secondary is solid, preventing us from having to cover the third WR with a S, who would be assigned to TEs instead. 3.  TE Tyler Warren:   The only way I take Warren is if I plan to use him as a multi-dimensional offensive weapon.   He would give the Panthers an elite TE (when we have been good, we have had an elite TE and an elite ILB) and lessen the need to reach for a WR by giving Young a shiny new weapon.  There are a lot of teams who like Warren, so if he is still on the board, watch a team like the Rams try to trade up.  With Sanders as an option in a 2 TE set and depth, we would have a pretty good TE room.
