Going with the hot hand...?

Is it me, or do the Panthers do the opposite of "going with the hot hand" when it comes to backs?

Stew having a great game vs TB, and instead he gets sat in the second half. Williams starting to pile on yards, so they switch him out for Stewart.

I like both backs, but let's go with the hot hand for once. I know I know, "it keeps them both live for longer", but at this point we need to consider just winning some games and not worrying about having 'em fresh for the playoffs or next year or whatever it is..

Fox has a script. He does that. He isn't going to stick with a hot hand. He is going to rotate RBs a certain pre determined manner.

just frustrating. I prefer Williams overall, but I know Stew is capable of getting hot. However, when neither back gets the chance to get going, it's no wonder our offense sputters, =(

The run game goes well, they switch to passing plays. The passing game goes well, they switch to running. The run game goes bad, they stay with the run game. The passing game goes bad, they stick with the passing game. FML

nah man... doing that would make sense... The Panthers don't do that. That would be to easy. Oh well with all checks in the "L" box it'll help our first round pick in the draft.

Yea I think it has to do with Fox game planning... He knows which plays and situations he going to use Stew and which plays he's going to use Williams. Same thing with the defense, the right side of or D-Line was incredibly week today and the Bengals kept pounding that right side and Fox didn't make any adjustments to it.
