I don't think he is terrible, but being a big SEC fan,(Wife is an LSU grad) I know how inconsistent he can be.

He makes great plays sometimes and not so great plays other times.

On big 3rd downs when you really need a reliable catch.....maybe don't go to him just yet because it's probably 50/50.

I hope he can fix his hands, but he has always had the dropsies.

Im pretty impressed with Gettis, i feel like he should be getting open alot more with smith taking the doubles though, but he does come down with it when it is thrown to him.

Not to get ahead of ourselves....

Gettis showed up. He caught passes. He even hustled to get back up after slipping, and coming back to make a good grab. The kid is showing he has the desire and ability to become a good receiver. How good? No one can say right now.

Of course, if davidson could have called a balanced attack in the first half, we prolly could have seen even more.
