Clausen looked a little better than I thought he would to be honest. You can tell that once he settles in, he's going to be a good one.

I see a possibility that he might be ok. Beyond that, who knows. I thought Matt Leinart looked good the first time he played, and he did look good. Turned out to mean nothing though.

Otherwords he didn't fumble it all over the field on taking it from center or handing it off .... yeah, he was just wonderful in the second half.

Clausen and Moore are both pathetic.

Clausen hardly did anything except stand there and get hit for a fifteen yard penalty.

Had the same system as at Notre Dame.

Has had a professional QB coach since the 7th grade, and this is his game.

I agree, he will play better, not many QB's could play worse.

Did any of you see Steve Smith on the evening news? They showed him on the sidelines giving Clausen heck over and over, looked like they were close to holding him off Clausen. They then interviewed Smith and he said that the coaches will, when they review the game tapes, see how many times he was open.

One thing i noticed is that he scanned the field which is a good sign. Seemed to see the whole field

No. I believe they will play Clausen until he really bombs, and then they will put Moore back in.

Personally I want the Panthers to trade Armanti because he would never get a good chance in Carolina, but that has nothing to do with the fact that neither Moore nor Clausen are NFL quarterbacks.

I think the problem was that a bunch of people on this board were so high on clausen, and made it seem that he was going to come in and look like Peyton Manning. Its absurb, hes a ROOKIE, give him a chance.

I understand the frustrations, I myself wish we are doing better, but what can you expect when you have a rookie qb and a struggling rest of the team.

Give him a few games before you bring him out to the gallows, moore is not a better option.

Clausen is a "potential" franchise QB. Moore is not. Keep Clausen in for rest of the season and see how he does.
