The problem with your posts is that you are being impartial. That makes you a troll in these parts. You're supposed to express a biased point of view and celebrate the greatness that is Jimmy Clausen even if he can't handle a snap simply because he is a Panthers QB just getting started.

Ummm, what about Stewart, or any of the othe people that turned the ball over on O? It wasn't all Jimmy but I agree; he needs to get the center / QB exchange down better!

Well yea there were other turnovers, but Jimmy had the most. Seems like there was trouble with holding onto a slick ball.

While the game really was lost at many points, I think we had the momentum and had the potential to turn the game around a ton before that 3rd quarter fumble that put the game out of reach.

Jimmy's QB rating today was a mere 5 points less than Peyton Manning's rookie debut rating of 58.6 in 1998. Some of you would had called for Manning's head in '98 as his 2nd game rating was 51.1 and 3rd game rating was 39.3. Don't know what'll happen with Clausen the next couple weeks, but I would not be surprised if his 1st 3-game QB rating average exceeds Peyton Manning's. Let's give the rook a chance.

I thought Palmer looked worse than Jimmy, it's just his sh!t ton of bad passes were dropped by our butterfinger secondary. They catch those balls, we have mutiple pick-6s. Jimmy is doing fine, but he needs to throw the deep ball more.

I think the first INT he had made him a little gunshy to go deep, but the throw to LaFell was pretty sweet once you look at the replay. He put it only where LaFell had a chance to make a play on it. He has the arm, just think that he likes to build up to those kinds of throws, working underneath at first to suck the safeties in then go over the top. Unfortunately, we have a dumb OC who can't understand that concept.

Probably a combination of rain and rookie jitters. That really doesn't bother me to much, at least regarding future play.

The one thing I liked more than anything else about Clausen today was how well he reacted to the rush. He didn't seem to let it get to him mentally. I hope that proves to be the case this year.

I think that what happened was that Clausen was expecting the snap on one count and it came late on the first fumble. The second one I don't think that Kalil ever got it to his hands (looked like it hit him in the butt). Pretty sure on the first, not so on the second one.

He looked good for a rookie no doubt, but the offense just isn't geling like it should be, if clausen and smith can get some timing and feel down i think he will be just fine.

i really don't like how he never slings one to smith, don't know if thats him being scared or davidson not letting him.
