Moore got worse every game as it went on and Clausen showed MARKED improvement in the second half.

Seriously though, are you off your rocker? You think this was our worst passing performance this season?!! Worse than Matt Moore throwing 3 INTERCEPTIONS IN THE END ZONE AGAINST THE GIANTS?!! Moore also fumbled twice in that game. 3 picks and 2 fumbles. This game was 1 pick and 2 fumbles and we got better later in the game.

In the Buc game Moore had 1 TD 1 INT and 1 Fumble again. He also completed just 6 of 16 passes.

Agreed, even with 1 week practicing with the starters Clausen looked as good, or even better than Matt did in his 2 starts this season. Of course he is going to make his share of mistakes, he is a Rookie...

people expecting more out of a rookie in his first start playing on a team that hasn't got it's crap together are living in a fantasy world.

he looked like crap the first half but who really didn't expect that might happen?

once he settled down a little in the second half he looked a little better. i just want to see improvements every week and i have no reason to believe we won't.

there are a lot more problems than jimmy in there but i know that he needs to stay in there and take his lumps and keep moving forward.

no one believed that clausen coming in would fix everything right away. it's just going to take time but it will be worth it.

still, i'm looking forward to getting a new coach in here.

If Fox really doesn't start him, I will seriously jump on the fire fox bandwagon.

And I have always given him the benefit of doubt and said we would be losing a good coach.

You just argued against yourself. Matt showed improvement from one game to the next.

Another fact: Matt and the team improved last week compared to the first week. The team did NOT improve with Jimmy compared to last week. The passing is worse.

His passing % isn't so much better than Matt's to compensate for the lack of a touchdown.

Are you slow? The only reason 6 for 16 with 1 td, 1 int, and 1 fumble is an improvement is because we have never seen anybody throw three picks in the end zone in one game. Matt and the team improved last week? That is why everyone was praising how much better Clausen looked than Moore? Matt Moore has regressed in a major way from last season.

At least Clausen doesn't throw 3 picks in 1 game and have them all be in the endzone and then fumble twice as well. At least Clausen can take a hit. At least Clausen completed a full game this season and not have a need to be yanked for a backup QB. At least Clausen went 15/26 for 154 yards and completed a deep pass to somebody not named Steve Smith. Seems like you are one of the few people who can't see this. Matt Moore would have been no better today, and might have been worse.

He played worse earlier in the year against a bucs defense that just got lit up by Charlie Batch. At least the Bengals made Joe Flacco look bad by giving hima 4 int game last week.

The big difference is Clausen stuggles are to be expected seeing as he's a rookie playing his first start.

Moore as been in the league and this offence for several years and played with the starters the offseason.

LOL! I like this guy. Id rather have a QB who throws 1 td pass and throw 3 int. Then have a QB who throws 1 int but we rush for 3 tds? Thats pretty much what your saying right? Because the point of a qb is to throw td's?
