I thought Clausen looked good...

Dude there WERE people that thought Clausen would turn things around. Just look at what some people were predicting and expecting in that thread.

5 TD 0 Int?

LOL. I'm not going to nor do I have to dig for quotes. Anybody that's been around here for the past few weeks knows this.

you aren't going to go around digging for specific quotes because you know you're full of crap and you don't want to be embarrassed more than you already are.

5 TDs and 0 INTs? show where there was a serious prediction for that, please.

you are simply grasping at straws and are becoming more of a joke with every singe post you make. my suggestion....keep on posting. this season we're going to need something to make us laugh and you pretending to have a clue will give us all plenty of reason to do that.

Jimmy DID NOT, play better this week than Matt did last week. BOTTOM LINE. With numbers and score to back it up.

Matt Moore week 2 against the Bucs. 6-16 for 125 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT.

Jimmy Clausen week 3 against the Bengals. 16-33 for 188 Yards with 0 TD and 1 INT.

clausen's overall rating is better as well.

So, numbers do back up that Clausen played better this week than more last week. Which is somewhat pathetic considering it was Jimmy's first start against one of the better defenses in the league, and playedin sub par conditions. Although he didn't score a TD he showed he had a better pocket presence and better control on his throws.

And don't think I forgot about his 2 botched snaps. Those will get better with more reps with Kalil.

In that thread I linked. Look though it yourself. There are plenty of overconfident predictions in there. Among with a bunch of other ones. Like I said I'm not going to waste my time proving the obvious. There are plenty of people that see that just like the guy above you are arguing with, wether or not you admitt it.

Yes I have which is why I said Jimmy played WORSE this week than last week.

And the second part of your post is all speculation. You have no idea what Moore would have done this week. Period.

I can tell you one thing. I find it hard to believe we would have only had 6 yards of passing in the first half with Moore under center.

And no you don't need to bring up the Giants game. Matt played terrible in that game. No denying that. But to say he played terrible in BOTH games and Jimmy's playing better when he played a better game last week than Jimmy did today....you are delusional. If you go by the numbers, touchdowns or any fact other than "he sucks cause we love Jimmy and Jimmy is popular" ....you can see that is NOT the case.

As much as I enjoyed watching Moore not make any reads, take coverage sacks, and run sweeps out of bounds behind the LOS, yeah, he looked worse than Clausen.

And yeah, a 4 year vet playing the Tampa D in the sun should be in a whole other fuging universe than a rookie making his debut in the rain against the Cincy D.

Hey, since stats are all.. did you know Clausen's QB rating was on par with Palmers? OMG Clausen is as good as Palmer CHECK THE STATS BOTTOM LINE.

How pathetic can you be? Please don't tell me you are going by the number of completions when Jimmy was able to throw TWICE as many passes. 53.5 passer rating is better than 60.7.? O TD is better than 1? 4.5 yards per pass is better than 7.8?

No seriously. Put down the pipe or the bottle of vodka, or whatever you are using that's influencing your judgment.

:P

Whatever man. People called him the future of the franchise and still have the audacity to call him that after today....when he did nothing to deserve that.

i'll say the same thing. he still could be the future of the franchise. i saw nothing in todays performance that would give me reason to doubt it.

i new that it wasn't going to be something that happened right away and i thought it would look ugly today. it did, but it could have been a lot worse.

quit being this guy and you might notice it.

you can't prove it because it's not there.

go get the quotes if you're so sure.

And with that statement, you just proved you should be the one taking a good look at that picture.

I suppose then it works. He did nothing to earn it...so there's nothing he can do wrong to lose it.

You make it seem as though the sky is falling. Yeah, the cats have seen better days but Jesus do you really think Moore is a better QB than Clausen? How can playing Clausen right now hurt us? Embrace the ostrich....

Are you really surprised that a rookie in his first career start against a stud secondary did not look like the "Future of the Franchise?" Ok, yes, you stated he didn't look like it. Any Panther fan whose realistic and has some decent football IQ knew Jimmy wouldn't light it up. It could have been a lot worse. He was about as mediocre as any QB we've had throw the football in the last 3 seasons. Get him experience from this season and he will light it up down the road.

just find two. you said there were a lot and that there were plenty. you shouldn't have any problem finding them.

Once again, that entire thread is FULL of them. Not just two.

And I will start digging for quotes for you as soon as you start backing up your claims as to why Jimmy has proven that he's the future of our franchise with facts. Till then, I have nothing to prove to you.

I have given you links, and gave you OFFICIAL numbers of the player's individual performance that DISAGREE WITH yall's viewpoint and analysis.

You and your buddies have done neither. Have not proven your BIASED, Clausen goggle wearing viewpoints with one spec of hard proof, numbers or fact.

Clausen played better than Moore bottom line cause we say so. That's your argument.
