I thought Clausen looked good...

Dude there WERE people that thought Clausen would turn things around. Just look at what some people were predicting and expecting in that thread.

5 TD 0 Int?

LOL. I'm not going to nor do I have to dig for quotes. Anybody that's been around here for the past few weeks knows this.

Wow..all these hours later and your STILL making stuff up to support your "argument"

Let it go, man..

Yeah, @PantherFanForLife I'm pretty sure those who said he would throw 5 Td's were not being realistic and were wishful thinking..

There were plenty of others predicting 2TD and 0 INT too.

And yes I know. That was my point. They weren't. I won't bother responding to the head of Clausen.org above. Dude's forever hopeful. We'll be 1-15 and he'll be talking about how we can still turn the ship around.

Clawesome > Moore. Bottom line.

Moore has terrible both games beginning to end. Against lesser defenses and on bright, sunny and DRY days.

Jimmy Clausen against Bengals.

16/33 188 yards 5.7 yards per pass 0 TD 1 INT 53.5 passer rating.

Matt Moore against Tampa

6/16 125 yards. 7.8 yards per pass. 1 TD 1 INT 60.7 passer rating

Jimmy against Tampa

7/13 59 yards 4.5 yards per pass 0 TD 1 INT 33.8 passer rating

Yes bottom line.

If Matt was terrible both games, including his last game, then Jimmy was BEYOND terrible and beyond repair.

The REAL bottom line? Some of you are delusional. Jimmy played WORSE this week than he did last week, he played WORSE than Matt did last week and his numbers are WORSE than Matt's. We had a worse passing offense this week than last week, and had MORE turnovers this week compared to last week. Your view of this kid is so skewed you completely overlook hard facts and somehow take the guy with the better numbers and label him as terrible and the one with the worse performance as good.

No point in even arguing with some here. I'll be back when yall get over your denial, come back down to planet Earth and we can talk about what went wrong with Jimmy, why he can't complete a pass down the middle and why he can't find Steve Smith. Just a few things that someone should look into before the Saints game.

PS: Someone should tell Jimmy, Smith always has double coverage. He will next game too. That's not an excuse not to find him.

Clausen played like 2 series during the Bucs and if you watched the game you would have seen that he moved the ball better in those series' than Moore did during the entire game.

Also, have you seen Moore try to read coverages this year? He likely would have been eaten alive by that Bengals secondary. Do I need to bring up the INT he threw against the Giants when he lobbed the ball into 5 man coverage? I know you're Matt Moore's secret lover but you just have to move on man...

I think the problem was that a bunch of people on this board were so high on clausen, and made it seem that he was going to come in and look like Peyton Manning. Its absurb, hes a ROOKIE, give him a chance.

I understand the frustrations, I myself wish we are doing better, but what can you expect when you have a rookie qb and a struggling rest of the team.

Give him a few games before you bring him out to the gallows, moore is not a better option.

you see....here's another one saying that there were lots of people saying that he was going to come out looking like peyton manning, but that flat out isn't the truth.

most people had very realistic ideas about what he was going to be able to do, which was not very much initially. out of the gate pretty much everyone knew that he wasn't going to turn this boat around. in time i think many believe that will happen but in his first game against one of the best defenses in the league...nah.

people feel good about him in the long term and that he could play pretty well towards the end of the season.

Yes I have which is why I said Jimmy played WORSE this week than last week.

And the second part of your post is all speculation. You have no idea what Moore would have done this week. Period.

I can tell you one thing. I find it hard to believe we would have only had 6 yards of passing in the first half with Moore under center.

And no you don't need to bring up the Giants game. Matt played terrible in that game. No denying that. But to say he played terrible in BOTH games and Jimmy's playing better when he played a better game last week than Jimmy did today....you are delusional. If you go by the numbers, touchdowns or any fact other than "he sucks cause we love Jimmy and Jimmy is popular" ....you can see that is NOT the case.

Jimmy DID NOT, play better this week than Matt did last week. BOTTOM LINE. With numbers and score to back it up.

I offically declare PanthersFanForLife to be a retard or simply the head of the "I Hate Jimmy Clawesome" fan club.

He actually thinks Moore played better at any point than Clawesome has even as a rookie, on a f**king rainy day against a better defense than TB and NYG.

P.S. The Moores one and only TD against Tampon Gay was all #89, nothing to do with Moores 'superior' QB play.

Whatever man. People called him the future of the franchise and still have the audacity to call him that after today....when he did nothing to deserve that.

LOL. And it continues. Anything Moore did good is someone else's prize. Anything that the team did bad is Moore's fault. Jimmy oth somehow did better...even though all the facts and reality point to the opposite.

Everything except the appologist's delusions. God some of you have truly lost it. You simply refuse to accept facts now.

And I suppose the fact that he was dead on and split 3 defenders to put it in Smith's hands means nothing right? Here's another fact....at least he could FIND Smith. You know...our best receiver.

Oh and PS: Nothing about the Bengals today made them better than Tampa or the Giants last week.
