After three: Bengals 10, Panthers 7

An eight-play, 75-yard touchdown drive wouldn't be so noteworthy, if it didn't stand in such stark relief.

The Panthers actually moved the ball and scored, and they're actually in a game, thanks to the Bengals continuing to do not much.

It's 10-7 entering the fourth quarter.

QB Jimmy Clausen moved the ball around, to everyone besides Steve Smith really, a nice mix of run and pass.

Smith still hasn't scratched the stat sheet, but there were moments of competence. David Gettis has looked good, and there was finally a moment where DeAngelo Williams seemed involved (with a 15-yard run). RB Jonathan Stewart capped it by getting the yard he couldn't get last week.
