wondering this myself.

Different style in running. With it being rainy and slippery what back would you want to use the most? Power up the guy little cuts and make the defense stop you, or a scat back/power back who's whole style is running is based off of making cuts in the backfield. Rather have stewart carry the rock for the game and not lose williams for a while with a broken/sprained ankle

psst. Clausen is a rookie. Moore sat for years and has played in a ton of games and started quite a few.

Clausen looks bad, yes, but he has made a couple good decisions. He WILL have growing pains. Hell, if Moore was a rookie too I wouldn't have thought they should bench him at all, but he isn't expected to play like that.

Rookies MAKE mistakes, so...

Also: weather sucks, field position sucks, our o-line sucks. No one will do well in that.

I will tell you. We see that D-Will seems to show signs that he could have a big day. Either Davidson or Fox or JR said "screw that. we gotta lose!" So, we give Goodson more snaps than both of our studs. Ahhh...gotta love it. I'm laughing to keep from crying.

If I don't see some screens to Smith and power runs with Williams and Stewart this half...I might actually have a heart attack.

This is what happens when you're leaving a bitter lame duck coach in charge.

nah, its all my fault. i drafted williams and stewart to my ff team, dooming carolinas running game in the process.

i did bench stewart this week, so maybe he'll break out in the 2nd half.

He can make all the mistakes he wants, if we don't have someone to teach him the mistakes will keep coming.

Don't expect improvement until we can get a brilliant QB coach on staff.

Whatever. Neither is Carson Palmer but I bet you he ain't getting benched. Matt got benched because of a name, not play. Don't let the Clausen fans tell you otherwise.
