Apparently we are out of post season contention even if we go 14-2 at this point.

Just to be a smart ass, the Panthers could go 14-2 and still miss the playoffs.

Philly 14-2 wins NFC East

NYG 14-2

Green Bay 16-0 wins NFC North

Chicago 15-1

Tampa 15-1 wins NFC South

Carolina out of the playoffs at 14-2 losing the tie breaker with the NYG due to head-to-head record.

tried making it past the second sentence. i found it to be more pointless than what the author thinks about the panthers season.

good job getting people to click our link. probably about the only way anyone is going to do it. i'd be surprised to see anyone lasting more than a couple seconds though.

I know it's nit-picking, but this scenario is impossible. CHI and GB play each other twice from now to end of regular season, so if GB is 16 wins, then CHI has minimum of 2 losses.

ETA: Also, if NYG and PHI are both 2 loss teams, and CAR is a two loss team, then this is an impossible scenario as well. PHI and NYG both have one loss already, and still have to play each other twice. If they split, then CAR still plays PHI, and that would give one or the other 3 losses. If they don't split, then one automatically has 3 losses, 2 by the same opponent.

I honestly felt that my Jaguars were going to draft him in the first round. When he fell to second round, I thought the Vikings of all teams, not knowing about Favre and not trusting Jackson, were going to snag up Clausen. They didn't and now they look beyond dumb since they don't look like they have a good plan going forward.

I think if available, this season the Patriots should draft a top end QB to groom for the post Tom Brady era but we will see.

Really need to stop posting these pieces of crap. Guy just pieced together some quotes and no substance. Give me a article that breaks down how Clausen might do with background on his play at ND or how he performed on the field and I can take it. But this fluff stuff doesnt work.
