I wouldn't get Mcafee if you have the choice. Much better programs for cheaper or free.

What brand and model is the mobo, video card, memory and hard drive? There are big differences in each on what they can do and handle, especially if you want to upgrade down the road.

Most prebuilts, not all put in pretty low end mother boards and memory. These can play a big part if you are looking to get a gaming rig.

Vid card is an on board, so you can trash that.

PC manufacturer would be nice.

The real issue with prebuilts imo is the weak power supplies they ship with that really limit your future expansion.

I got it from Dell. I never had problems with Dell so I gave it a try. Considering that I had 2002 Sony Vaio...

Yea, I had a problem like that before. Thats why I will probably buy a new power supply in a year or so. It should work fine while its relatively new.
