Melo Four Team Trade Talks (Bobcats ARE a team)

The deal is on the table. Or at least reportedly it is. And by the sounds of it, everyone is good with it. Even Carmelo Anthony.

Except for some reason, the Nuggets are taking their time. According to Sam Amick of FanHouse and Adrian Wojanrowski of Yahoo!, the Nuggets are putting the deal in jeopardy because they're dragging their feet.

Nets new general manager Billy King is growing impatient and according to Amick's report, may just say forget it. Quite a thing to do just because a team is taking a little extra time deciding on whether or not to pull the trigger on trading their franchise player, but hey, nobody messes with Billy King. Nobody.

Amick also tweeted that goodwill is fading fast between the Nuggets and the other three teams involved in the talks. He says the Nets, Jazz and Bobcats aren't thrilled with the way things are being handled. I guess that happens when you're working in a new owner, new general manager and new consultants to those people.

I'm sorry but I just can't understand how Felton is terrible and Nelson is second tier AT BEST.

Chris Paul

Deron Williams

Steve Nash

Derek Rose

Rajon Rondo

Tyreke Evans

Tony Parker

Chauncey Billups

Russel Westbrook

Baron Davis

There that's ten ten point guards that are better than Jameer Nelson. What has he ever done? 30 teams in the league. He's is second tier... bottom line. And I guarantee you I could name ten more before Felton even comes to mind. Stop being a UNC homer. Felton has done nothing to prove himself a worthy NBA player, just like Marvin Williams, Sean May, David Noel, or Brandon Wright to name some previous graduates. I GO TO UNC and I admit this.

Don't worry though its ok to be wrong.

Second Tier:

Darrin Collison

Devin Harris

Jameer Nelson

Monta Ellis/Stephen Curry

Mo Williams

Jamal Crawford

Derek Fisher

Brandon Jennings

Jason Kidd

Jose Calderon

Andre Miller

.... and I would go ahead and throw John Wall, and possibly Rodney Stuckey in there ahead of Felton

Update:

The proposed trade that would send Anthony to New Jersey is being held up by the Bobcats, who don't want to include D.J. Augustin in the four-team deal, the New York Daily News reports.

If this is true it's disappointing why are we hung up on Augustin when we can have Harris locked up for at least 3 seasons??

I'm a die hard Lakers fan (root for the B-Cats unless they're playing the Lakers) but if the Bobcats had Harris along with G-Force, TNT and Jax I would definitely be buying an 11 game ticket package to see that foursome.....

If the Cat's don't pull the trigger because of Augistine they're F.O. is almost as bad as the Panthers....

The Bobcats are getting Harris for Diaw but who are they getting for Augustin? I could see why they would protest if they think they are getting robbed.

They do have Sherron Collins who is kind of a Raymond/DJ hybrid so why not get in on the deal. Somebody would have to throw us draft picks or something for DJ.
