I actually like Marty. He usually does the right thing when we are active in Free agency he usually not afraid to go after a good player. Usually keeps the good players and lets the average players walk (couple exceptions). Still think Richardson pulled in the reins this year.

I think so too. I hope we keep Hurney. I just hope he can adapt to a new coach and a new offensive scheme.

That is great that Hurney is falling on the sword for Richardson but it still means that we as the fans are paying more money for an inferior product that apparently they don't mind if it takes a year or two to develop.

My only hope is that Richardson feels the pain in concessions as fans decide they aren't coming to support the JV. Nice of JR to hoard my money and send out Hurney to make excuses.

I heard Gnatt on the radio earlier this weeking saying how close he and Hurney are. he said Hurney isn't going anywhere. he went so far as to say Hurney might be in JR's will.

It's hard to judge Hurney sometimes because you don't know what he is forced to do.

But If I had to grade him on his tenure in Carolina, I'd give him a solid B on a tough scale. Close to a B+, If he hits a hometun on Armanti, I will never doubt him again. lol.

Well he was giddy on draft day when we got him, and Moore was basically the starter by default.
