Considering how I posted that thread back in April and Clausen has sat down with a member of the local media for an interview a grand total of one time since then (a summer interview with Darin Gantt), it looks like I was spot-on.

Just like you claimed Steve Smith's career was over? How about you guaranteeing LaFell wouldn't start for Giants? Spot on my friend spot on

Why would he make it up though?

Please remember this is a guy who changed his last name to mimic his jersey number. He also has a VH1 reality show, the guy loves attention. So unless you see an injury report, it isn't real.

For all we know he was eating some ribs at the time and snapped one in half...
