In all seriousness though who knows how Brennan would look if given a chance. People didn't think Kurt Warner would worth a damn in the NFL either, and look how that panned out. Not that I think Brennan would be any good, but you never know.

I remember he played really well in the preseason as a rookie. I haven't kept up with him since then. Forcing him into the starting role over Clausen is f**king stupid but I wouldn't mind stashing him on the practice squad, or put him as the 3rd string over Pike. Though I think Pike is complete garbage so that's not saying much. But still I think he has alot more upside than Pike or Cantwell so it's worth a spot to get him and see how he develops. I didn't make the thread to make him the NEW starting QB over Clausen out of nowhere. I made it, just as an insight so even if he was on the practice squad or 3rd stringer, he can eventually Rise Up and have legit shot. I think he would fit right in to the panthers system. Already have a great RB, and good solid WR corps.

If he's an upgrade over what we have then why wouldn't you bring him in ? Or are you saying the guy that's dominated 3rd string defenses is worse than the guys we have that have looked like crap against 3rd stringers.
