Guy named: Shadow on the show made a bet. If the Carolina Panthers go 0-5 he will quit the show, hence not have a job. Feel sorry for the guy. His odds are not looking good.:eek:

I don't listen to the show, but I went to high school with that guy. He was the one who was living on the roof of the building until the Panthers won a game last year.

thats 95.1 right? I don't get that station in greensboro, but when im home i usually listen to 96.1, along w/ 97.9, 102.1, 101.9 and 92.7

I didn't know they were still on. There used to be a bilboard with their pic on it along I-77. (Maybe there still is, don't know.)

I was listening years (10+) ago when they saved that woman's life in G-Town from suicide. (Acutally, if you publicize the fact that you want to take your life, you really don't want to. It's more fo a cry for help than anything.) I remember that they stayed on the air past their sign-off, until they found out where in Gastonia she was. They were able to direct the Police and ambulance to her house and got her help! I will admit. That was pretty f'ing amazing for a couple of goofball DJ's!

They are some really dedicated, community-oriented guys. They do a lot of good works. Some of their acts get annoying but they have hearts of gold.
