Trade a RB to the Patriots for a WR or I will kill Smootsdaddy

With Kevin Faulk blowing out his knee the Patriots are stuck with pure poo at RB.

Sammy Morris and Fred Taylor are made of glass and neither is really the perfect fit for the spread offense hybrid runner role.

After they blow out their groins the Patriots will be stuck with Benjarvus Green Ellis, a seventh tier running back with no discernible skills from a third tier SEC school, and Danny Woodhead who looks like he hangs out at AKPantherFan's meth lab.

How f**king hard would it be to trade Tyrell Sutton straight up for like Brandon Tate? Tate is is fast and can run in a straight line which would immediately propel him to second on the depth chart. Plus, he's a Carolina grad, and was one of the most dangerous kick returners in NCAA history.

I mean how in love with Julian Edelman are they? Might they like Mike Goodson? A running back who can pass, catch, return kicks, and has unmatched top end speed?

How hard would these deals really be to pull off? It's not like the team would be adding salary. It'd improve them right now.

I would love that trade, but Pats aren't stupid. Tate is a game breaker, especially in the return game and I think he will be a very good wr. Sutton isn't enough for them I wouldnt think.

Id trade Stewart or Williams for Edelman AND Tate for sure. I would like to get one of those young TEs they got in Gronkowski and Hernendez, but they will be Pats for a while, they are very good too. Edelman is who we want Edwards to be, a former QB in college, but Edelman I think is more talented IMO. Better speed, bigger and quick as a cat. Hes not quite Wes Welker but hes not far at all from him IMO.

I think Armanti is faster and quicker more talented etc.... but the difference is Pats develop players like a top notch private school <providence day> vs us the w meck of developing wide recievers. Its also probably a good idea to trade williams before he leaves for free <wont happen> but poo we need to SCRATCH THAT WE MUST give Jimmy help wide reciever wise ASAP for him to develop. somebody show me the that funny beating the dead horse gif Ive seen I love it

I'd love to have Tate, I've been wanting us to go after him since the 2009 draft. But I doubt they would give him up for Sutton or Goodson. They need some young WRs to eventually replace Moss and Welker, they don't have high priority for RBs and they actually seem high on Green-Ellis (or at least like him enough not to make a big move).

hell give them sutton for coaching up our wrs. send them gettis, edwards, and lafell if they developed them like edelman and ship them back next year. likely all those guys would be fine in the NE system this year, come back and disappear.

its not a possible trade, but they take meh wrs and turn them into something. its part coaching part scheme. hell we could probably have moss, smitty, fitz and megatron on the team but davidson/fox would still not know what to do with all of them.

We have a running back on the practice squad that is better than their starter. We should at the very least be able to pry away Tate or Edelman with Sutton. If they don't want to give Randy a new contract then trade them Stewart and resign Deangelo and Randy to new deals.

Williams to NE for their 1st round pick they got from Oakland.

Not that I want Williams gone. He's one of my favorites and very talented but the smart move would be to get something for him because I do not see them keeping Williams, Stewart and Goodson next season. And Williams is the one going into FA. I don't want to see him leave but if he going anyways why not get a 1st rounder in exchange for him.
