Why has no one asked? Whats Jon Stewarts Problem?

gmonet said "preseasonal games" and "equation factor" in the same post. Also, "offensive explosion" or offensive implosion? I haven't seen an explosion yet.

Then again, I'm still starting J Stew on my fantasy team....

Thanks for making it all clear. BTW I stupidly saw MG as an explosion, quick and effective burst of energy (Merriam-Webster)

I just rewatched the tampa bay game and there were MANY times he should have been in and Goodson was in over him. Yea goodson was hot, but Stewart didn't come back in until the last play of that goalline drive Clausen led before that I think he had 1 carry in the 4th quarter.. if that.

I think that it may be because they are looking to trade Williams, who Goodson would replace and then Stewart take on the starting role, so they wanted to see more of Goodson in that game.

I've said this in a couple of threads. At this point it is fairly obvious that this is a rebuilding or growing year with all of the youth on the team. Having three capable RB is great but with Williams entering FA this offseason you might as well get something for him now if they are not planning on signing him. I don't want to see him go but if they are going to let him walk this offseason I would rather they trade him now and get something for him.

Thats just it, I dont think come offseason fox is going to have a say in it anyway since he more than likely will not be here. And I'm really not sure if the next head coach would want to let him walk with the production he puts on the table. But with his age now, he's in his prime so we should have worked out an extension to keep him here a few more years a while back. I'm just worried about stewart and that lingering injury that keeps him out of camp and preseason games, eventually it'll catch up with him in the regular season.

The real question is: will Double Trouble both get 1000 yds this season?

After 2 games in 2008

Stewart 130 yards

Williams 117 yards

After 2 games in 2009

Stewart 100 yards

Williams 116 yards

After 2 games in 2010

Stewart 55 Yards

Williams 116 Yards

Neither had a 100 yard plus game until the 5th game of the season in 2009 or 2008.

Our run game tends to get off to a slow start, just like it has this year. Lets hope that it shows the same level of improvement as it has the last two years.

Yeah, I was gonna start a thread about this. But in the first two games we saw no action from stewart or D-Willie in the last quarter???? Who the f*ck is calling the shots... hmmmm let's sit 2 - 1st round picks to play Goodson. That's just retarded.

How many games has Stewart and D-Williams won for us on big runs late in the game? A good amount, that's for sure.

J-Stew's problem is Jeff Davidson.

Of course it could not possibly be the OLC's issue could it? Davidson is two people to this crowd. He is the lame OC, or he is the whipping boy for JF! All else is a crack in the wall.

No one is willing to ask why neither Stewart nor Wiliams could punch their own holes...nah, let's put it on the coach! OK...so what's so different (Offensively)this year than EOS last year? Moose is gone? Good ol' Hoov is gone? Hey, Gross is back! That impresses me  Maybe it is just that TB had a superior D than last year...it's all an enigma...and there are plenty who seem to think they have the magic key!

Stewart sucked last week until someone has the proof that he didn't!
