Job interview question advice requested

i asked for feedback off my last interviewer after finding out I didn't get the job. he told me I needed to better prepared with examples of how I deal with my shortcomings. also that my experience wasn't as much as they were looking for. other than that i nailed it.

I always find something that's obvious. i.e. if it's an entry level job say your weakness is lack of experience. For my current job my weakness was lack of experience with advanced sql/database stuff. They knew it, I knew it, I just stated the obvious.

This isn't bad, but doesn't really fit since she's had experience with the state for a while.

Personally said in an interview Monday the first thing that popped into my head:

Patience with myself, and learning I won't get it right the first time everytime. (Touches on perfectionist like was mentioned, but not overtly so). I also mentioned I had infintite pantience with others, and brought up my tutoring a bunch of kids in college.

The lady I interviewed with seemed to like it and smiled when I said it, so I dunno. Of course, I had her laughing and talking freely too (only had 1 interview that the guy wasn't joking with me by the end - complete stoneface), so your mileage may vary ;)
