need real advice here, so stop thumping your chests for a minute

i'm getting married in a month from tomorrow and need to figure out a bridal gift to get my fiance. really trying to stay away from jewelry as she's not big on it and that's too simple.

if you got your wife a bridal gift, what did you get? looking for some good ideas

try and think of something she has said she wanted in the last 3-6 months. Any time she has said "oh, I want one of these" or "I wish I had one of those", these always make the best gifts.

bonus points if it's something random or if it's lingerie or something she wouldn't expect to be getting from you.

this is what i've been trying to do, and the two things that i can think of are a wii and an ipod. every time i go up to another chick and run that idea past them they look at me like "are you fuging kidding me" and then say to get jewelry

i know she wants a wii for the wii fit/yoga crap, but am afraid to get that because i don't want her to look at that as a gift for me as well (cause i'd sure as hell enjoy it too). at least with the ipod, i could get it engraved for free from apple and add something a little personal/romantic to it. but everyone's telling me that's something that i can get her for a birthday/christmas/etc present, which is true

when we've talked about it, all she tells me is "something i'll have forever or something that i'll always look back and remember."

seriously...with all the money people spend on weddings these days...not sure it's the best time for gifting. If you do though, it will have to be something deeply personal, so that it stands out from the rest of the toasters and cutlery you're going to get from Zod, the huddle and the rest of your family. Lingerie is a gift that keeps on giving, as is breast enhancement. But like someone else said, you hopefully have been listening for the last while and have heard some things she really wants. If not, go away on a weekend getaway together...no necessarily a honeymoon, but just a mini break.
