Jarrett in 2010 on the Fox Telecasts have been LISTED as starting. He has NOT started both games, however, the lineups that they use on the TV screens come from the information given by the coaches before the game on who is going to START.

he didn't start. What is so hard about understanding basic facts. That is why John Fox would call him up and say YOU ARE NOT STARTING. The result was Jarrett did not start....and was not credited with a start.

No, Jarrett has officially started 3 games in his career... 2008 vs Tampa Bay which we lost 27-3, 2009 vs Arizona when Smitty made the 65 yard down the sideline catch, and 2009 vs New Orleans in game 16. So technically for CRA's case, Jarrett is 2-1 as a starter since CRA is too lazy to look up any stats or give any factual evidence to back himself up with.

The games Smitty was suspended and Carolina started 2-0. He didn't record a catch the 2nd game...played very well in SD regardless of the stat sheet.

every time i see him on the sidelines (where he has spent half of his career (the other half being inactive) he has that thing poking out. aside form it looking stupid, he can't play with it in. if he has it in then he isn't ready to go.

thats probably not it but it is for sure one of the things i would consider if i was to step out of the realm of him just not being good enough.

the stats you are posting don't make the point you think they do....that is all. When Fox puts Jarrett in games.....he plays well. Always has. He has not played like the bashers claim.

You are wanting to compare the stats of guys who have gotten chances to play WR to a guy who in rare games gets to play 4 snaps.

Jarrett is slow off the line, he was slow at USC. The kid has looked good.....people are putting all there faith in FOX not playing him being the end all be all. Fox has a record where you simply can't get away with that logic.

Jarrett doesn't fit our offense. He shouldn't be here.

HELLO! The players are faster in the NFL, a lot of college starting corners aren't 4.4 guys hell even 4.5 guys. In the league the faster guys see the field, it is a faster game. He could get himself in better position against the slower guys. Game is so different in the pros, SOOOO much faster.

That is the bottom line...

Other teams would have started Jarrett regardless of his nature, and he would have been a success...

If and when we let him go, I fully expect that he will make the Panthers organization look like fools...

The real issue is why we continue to draft WRs of this nature... projects that fit a role other than a solid #2 or potential #1...

We knew Jarrett was slow with great hands, yet we send him on fade routes and expect him to beat CBs with speed and quickness...

We knew LaFell had shitty hands and ask him to come in and be a #2 and a run blocker like Moose...

We knew Armanti Edwards was a project gimmick WR that could take years to develop...
