Panthers do everything possible to avoid starting Dwayne Jarrett

There is something wrong with Jarrett. I mean for a Rookie 6th round pick to go ahead of him is just crazy. I really doubt they wanted Gettis to start over Jarrett. It was more like they were forced too.

but again, that is putting all the assumption on Fox not playing someone means they don't give us the best chance to win.......something that has proven to be dangerous logic late in Fox tenure here.

Fox has no control over who is on this team currently. He can play who he wants in his lame duck season. Matt Moore was never a Fox guy......Moore wasn't given much of a chance at all......very promising player....one bad game followed by a concussion. Fox then broke his rule for the first time ever to my knowledge. Moore wasn't going to get a fair shot unless he forced Fox not to have a chance to bench him.

bash players all you want. waste of energy. this team has one glaring problem....Fox.

how bad do you have to be when they give colbert more opportunities?

again, the only logic you are using is that Fox choosing to start or bench guys determines how good a player is. Fox has proven you can't do that late in his career here.

Maybe Matt Moore and Dwayne Jarrett really aren't that good?

Matt Moore fits what Fox wants to do better than Jimmy. Fox has given plenty of reasons to assume Moore ain't his type guy. You suggesting Moore got a legit shot this year?? 10 games into your career you are gonna lay some eggs. Fox let him lay one and benched him. Claimed a game down by less than 2 scores was not winnable....despite having the ball and over 10 mintues.

maybe Fox is the who isn't that good. imo, there is more to support that arguement.

First it was Jake's fault. Now it's Fox's fault. After he goes to another team and does nothing there and eventually ends up in the UFL or wherever-the-f**k whose fault will it be then?

Part of it was Jake's fault. Jake was a shell of what he use to be post Tommy John. Jake took all the fault. I always claimed last year Fox wasn't getting off without his share of the blame and it was a big share.

Fox hasn't been a good coach in a long time. That is not a knee jerk claim. Fox's coaching was every bit as bad as Jake's play last season.

So seeing as how it's pretty much everyone else's fault and no fault of Jarrett himself that he hasn't done anything here, you really think after this year he'll go to another team and do well? Become the starter? Put up good numbers?

never said Jarrett doesn't have faults. Just saying he ain't what some here claim.

the Jake debacle wasn't all Jake. Fox is just bad. Real bad. People put all the blame on Jake...and he only deserved his share in it. '

The past few years I have spent my time saying Jake is done, Godfrey isn't an NFL S and Fox is no longer a good coach. 3 biggest problems Carolina has faced in recent history.

lol ok CRA didn't answer, you really think he's gonna go to a new team and do well? be a starter? put up good numbers, ect ?

don't know if he starting material on a real offense. I would wager not. Never claimed any of that.

I claimed the kid has displayed some strengths that teams who run legit offenses in today's NFL could capitalize on. Jarrett probably at best is a #3 or #4 WR. Look at the good offenses in the NFL -how many WRs are they using in a league that favors the pass? They ain't running the same 2 WR sets over and over.

Jarrett is just another example of a player taking all the blame for Fox's poor job. That doesn't mean Jarrett doesn't deserve blame.

If Jarrett is what he has shown to be in his game reps....a good coach would find a way to use it. Fox is only worried about running his same repeatitive plays and finding someone who can have success despite the world knowing every move they are making.
