How greedy is he?

Jerry Richardson parked his brand-new Lexus in front of the BOA Stadium, ready to show it off to his colleagues. As he got out, a truck passed too closely and completely tore off the door on the driver's side.

Jerry Richardson immediately grabbed his cell phone, dialed 911, and within minutes Fiz pulled up. Before Fiz had a chance to ask any questions, Jerry Richardson started screaming hysterically. His Lexus, which he had just picked up the day before by not picking up any free agents and cutting veterans, was now completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter what the body shop did to it.

When Jerry Richardson finally wound down from his ranting and raving, Fiz shook his head in disgust and disbelief.

"I can't believe how materialistic you owners are," he said. "You are so focused on your possessions that you don't notice anything else."

"How can you say such a thing?" asked Jerry Richardson.

Fiz replied,"Don't you know that your left arm is missing from the elbow down? It must have been torn off when the truck hit you."

"My God!" screamed Jerry Richardson. "Where's my Rolex?"

I wonder if people have any clue just how much of his own money Richardson sank into building this team, or for that matter just how much money it takes to run a pro football team.

Richardson, despite being one of the shortest tenured owners in the league, is very highly respected among his peers. And I've yet to see anyone show anything that indicates he isn't committed to this team's success (other than the annual silliness of "he didn't sign/cut/draft the guy I think he should have, so he must not be committed to winning)

Every team in the NFL makes moves every single season that they think will get them a championship, and every year all but one of them fail. If you listened to fans on here, I guess you'd have to conclude that 31 of them just don't care.
