Schottenheimer.

If you disagree you're a dumb gay baby.

Understand this is coming from a 'dumb gay baby', but....no freakin way! :P

I honestly hope you are being sarcastic (regarding Davidson), I agree on Socttenhiemer b/c he has been successful everywhere he's been.

Davidson has no creativity & has always been predictable. He sucked in Cleveland & hasn't produced anything but a strong running game with the Panthers. BUT...when you invest as many 1st & 2nd round picks into a running game (DeWill, Stewart, Gross, Otah, Khalil...I would also include FB Fiametta being taken in the 4th as a very high pick 'for that position' specifically used for the running game), anyone should be able to get those results.

Just my 2 cents, but I think we need an infusion of coaching skill (Schottenhiemer/Cower/etc.) & energy (new caoching staff for Offense & Defense). If anything, I would keep Meeks & get him some pass rushing, plus another corner or 2, that would firm up the passing D.

I thought you meant Brian? why would we hired marty?

I was going on the Brian assumption too.

Brian fits the 'plan' in a number of ways. He's young, he comes from a successful team, he certainly has people vouching for him (undoubtedly in part because of his father, since you wouldn't know him otherwise). He's an offensive guy and there's always that feeling of putting an O guy ahead of D, (bucking the JR trend) to keep the D intact and retool the O.

but Brian's not that good.

For one, there's a full season to be played and everyone's panties are in a wad about hitting the reset button and going to their happy place. F that. But, if we're talking offensive guys who I'd love to see his team led by, Harbaugh.

Has anyone considered that maybe there is no creativity in this offense because Davidson and Fox both know that Moore makes poor decisions and does not process information quickly and probably couldn't handle a more complex offensive game plan?

people have considered a lot over the years.. I wouldn't look to this one season as an enigma.. it's been a common occurrence regardless of the date in time..
