Bart Scott will be the one to leave Baltimore.

They'll tag suggs and sign Lewis to a contract quick like then send Scott on his way because they don't view him as a priority. According to reports they'll spend the rest of their money resigning a couple of their DB's and let Scott walk.

I hate to admit it but I do think you are right in saying Bart Scott will be the odd man out and we don't need any linebackers for a long time. I don't want it all but you can't blame me for dreaming of Mario Williams/Julius Peppers as out DEs. Suggs is to young for the Ravens to part with anyway.

can't blame you at all, I'd love for us to keep pep and sign Haynesworth. I know it's not going to happen in anything but madden though. though I wouldn't mind getting rid of pep for about 4 picks say a 1st two 3rds and a 5th rounder and signing Haynesworth and using our first rounder on a DE, our 2nd rounder on a CB then use our thirds on another DE or DT, a OG and then a WR.

This has to be a red light for the front office to get rid of Mike Trgovac. I think if we fail on this it could end up hurting us for the next couple of seasons with players morale and the fanbase's confidence in the organization. How we come out on this will say alot about the Panthers.

And Houston is not a BIG market..lol. Houston bigger market than all NFL cities but NY since LA is not in the mix. Houston would be a even bigger market if not for those chumps to the north of us.(Dallas). I'm sure Peppers would love to play in Houston opposite Mario. Just what is wrong with Houston anyway? I'm sure Peppers knows this team is another DE and FS away from being a serious contender.

I'm not trying to say Houston isn't a big market, because it is, but 2nd to only NY? Chicago, Boston, Philly and San Diego are all bigger markets than Houston and there may be more.

over 8 million in the metro area. Houston is a team that is just now getting exposure because of the early years records. If the NFL had given us the sweet deal they gave Carolina and Jacksonville when they came in the league we would have won earlier and been exposed a lot more. Also it doesn't help at all when you have Dallas 4 hours north of us with 5 superbowl titles. We have a lot of Carolina boys on this squad so I'm pretty sure Peppers will fit right in. No realistically...I would be surprised if we go after him unless he calls first...so give him my cell phone # next time you talk to him..lol

Houston is the 10th largest market in the US. In NFL terms only NY, Chicago, Boston, Philly, San fran, Washington, atlanta, and Dallas rank above them. Most of the 10 cities that rank above them have teams expect for la.

10th largest market....that would still be a move up for him. I bet Peppers and his agent knows that houston will be around 40 million under the cap. I don't know how they define "market" but I know there is a lot of interest down here in this team. Despite the Dallas fans and longhorn fans etc...we still have had all sellouts....pep would love it here..

      I get the highly drafted QB bust comparison but that's it. Lance is big, fast with a strong arm. His physical attributes got a 4th. Bryce doesn't have any of those things.  I agree that it challenges the narrative that it's all because the team's bad. If the team doesn't look that bad with Dalton then was it really the team? However, one could still say but last season was so bad it shook him. That's probably true too. Why can't both things be true?  Can't look desperate if you are hoping for a trade.  I thought Riddick hit it pretty good in this one.
