Is Jon Gruden the best fit?

I was never all that impressed with Gruden, to be honest. However, he's been auditioning for this job on national TV for a year now. He really, really wants it. You can tell whenever he opens his mouth.

I wouldn't mind him as coach, but I don't think JR would go with Gruden. I don't think we'll end up with a "retread" anyway.

Tampa Bay under Gruden, never had above an 18th ranked offencesive team based on points per game.

And who were his QBs? Brad Johnson and then several different scrubs? Usually game managers... Most of his WRs were possession guys as well outside of Galloway. I'm just saying he's creative and innovative offensively. As I said, I prefer Harbaugh.

Under that argument:

Who has John Fox had for his QB's? Usually game managers.

Most of our guys were possesion recivers outside Smith.

All his creativity and innovation never amounted to anything in Tampa.
