Despite the team having been ran right into the ground, having the worst team in nearly a decade, having a fifth straight season with no playoff win, having a grand total of 3 playoff appearances in 9 seasons, having no back-to-back winning seasons (the longest tenured coach in league history that can say that)....he is STILL largely escaping blame so far this season. There's always a new villain. Last year it was (rightfully) Jake. This year it's been (rightfully) Big Pussy. Yet these "John Fox sucks/should be fired/is evil" threads still rarely go anywhere.

Why? Is it just because we all assume this is his last season so we don't care that much?

While I'm 90% convinced Fox is gone no matter what, the fact that they picked Clausen with their top pick makes me wonder though. That pick still makes no sense if Fox knew he was gone for certain after this season.
