What happened to Matt Moore over the course of the Summer? Is he a Cavs fan?

Last year there was no book on Moore. Teams did not gameplan for him. Everyone playing the Panthers likely assumed you stop the run, and you win. Now teams know what to expect from Moore and it isn't hard to read his eyes. This whole preseason and now two games of the regular season, he just locks onto one target and throws it.

It makes a lot of difference in being some backup just trying to come in and salvage the last of a season or being the guy next season. People do their homework. Watch previous pro film and likely even college film. They saw what worked against him and executed.

I have been saying things would be different now that people gameplan for Moore and I was flamed and called a Clausen homer but now look at it. Even Darin Gantt agreed with me today when somebody else what happened to Moore.

To me, Matt Moore lost his confidence when we drafted Clausen.

There's no crying in football. If he can't grow a set and deal with competition, he probably wouldn't lead us far anyway.

The staff planned safe games for Moore last year, i.e. a version of the WCO. This year they gave him the "Jake" playbook courtesy of John Fox. I said it last year and I was mocked. Clausen will have relative success until he is shackled with John Fox ball.
