Ran an aggressive 3-4 in Dallas, but they really slacked off by year's end (looked pretty bad against Baltimore and Philly).

Given that the defense reportedly picked up because Wade Phillips took over the playcalling, it'd be hard to think positively about him.

With that said, a certain offensive coordinator was once stripped of playcalling duties but later moved on to a head coaching job in New Orleans, so who knows?

Even when he was calling the plays, Stewart was still pretty much Wade's puppet. There was much rejoicing in San Diego when Stewart went to Dallas, since he was doing jack with the secondary.
