McCoy leaves for Denver

Sorry, but when your job is to prepare and coach a player to be ready to take up his position in a live game, and not a single one of them comes in looking truly prepared for it, then you are not doing your job. This is more than just Jake and his mechanics. Let's look at his body of work, shall we?

Weinke - Not a good backup, didn't really shine overall. Mainly missing the "It" factor, honestly.

Jake - Still makes the stupid throws, still stares down receivers, still has a problem reading the field

Carr - Egad, do we really have to list them all?

Vinny - I agree with what you said above about old dog, no new tricks. Honestly, the only thing Vinny had a problem with was age

Moore - played decently in the three games he was in, looked great, regressed in the preseason. Yeah, I know, it's preseason...

What exactly has he done to make him "well-regarded" anyways? Not being a dick here, but I just don't see what makes him a good coach from what I listed above. If you have an argument for the other side, I'd be happy to debate this :)

Just cause Fox lauds praise on him, doesn't mean squat to me. It's the same philosophy as not throwing a player under the bus. I mean, c'mon, this is the same guy that said Trgo was a great DC, and we all know that's complete horsesh*t, lol!

Wenkie -Simply a bad Qb Imo.

Carr- Same as Wenkie, Carr was wrecked before he came here.

Jake- You could argue this either way, But considering he was a FA nobody before he came here, Id say mcCoy did a pretty good job.

Vinny- Agreed, he was just to old.

Moore- Did pretty decent, hard to tell if he truly regressed. I dont see how a coach makes a player good one year, then somehow made the same player regress.

Honestly its hard to tell how much impact he had on our Qb's play so it's difficult to assume how good he is.

But the fact that he was highly regarded by our players and coaches, and the fact that the Broncos signed him to be O coordinator, makes me belive he' thought to be good.
