I think you put Matt back in. I know I come across as a Matt homer but if Jimmy struggles bad enough it may be worth the while to give Matt another shot. Some time on the bench could help him. It might also help get his head back to how it was last season.

No, you can't put Matt back in unless Jimmy gets hurt. The team needs to know Jimmy is its new leader during the good and bad times...you can't flipflop, just doesn't work! Matt is done here in Carolina and I feel bad for how it happened but lets move on and support the FUTURE!

I wonder if that at all was a consideration. I was thinking earlier that if moore is our there the stadium wil be empty. Now with everyone hoping Clausen is the answer, I expect it to be pretty packed. I doubt Fox would do it for that reason but since Richardson is calling the shots, it might have been a strong suggestion.

Or it could just be Fox saw what lots of others did, Clausen is a better QB

that may have been part of it...that and the reaction from the fans in the stands when he went in and the level of play from the team.

it seems that everyone was more energized when he went in there. fanbase might just be as well. win or lose, he'll sell more tickets and it isn't like moore was going to be winning more anyway.

He doesn't need to light it up. Just make the defense pay for putting 8-9 in the box. We loosen the box the running game comes back and we will be better off.
