Overreact Much?

Clausen looked much better than Matt did, and actually it seemed like the team had more fire when Matt was pulled and Jimmy came in.

As for benching Jake and then starting 10 games after that; I think Fox has learned his lesson from that last year!

I just think thats all in the heads of some of you. I really saw no change between the two. I saw over throws from Clausen like Moore. He made a nice pass to Smith. And also a fast over throw to Goodson who was only 5-7 yards away that resulted in a INT.

Clausen scanned the field, Matt did not

Clausen will check the ball down, Matt will not

Clausen threw the ball away, Matt will / did not

Have you noticed Clausen hasn't had the "rush" problem Matt has every down? Its because he has pocket presence, Matt does not

I guess everyone sees things differently but to say you saw no difference at all just isn't right me thinks!

BTW, the INT was not his fault! Everyone could see that

Matt has checked the ball plenty. Thats why Rosario is his favorite target. And I saw him throw it away yesterday. On his roll outs when no one was open, he would run out of bounds or throw it away. He also threw one away that avoided a sack in the first half. Clausen also was scrambling on some plays out there too. And he, like Moore, also threw it away when rolling out when no one was open. And I only saw 1 instance of Moore failing to recognize a open receiver down field which is improvement from game 1. But he also was running to his right and the receiver was to his left.

If the receivers would have caught the easy passes yesterday maybe the defense would fear them. Clausen overthrew more passes yesterday than Moore did.

Now that is true but he is also a Rookie. He will settle down and that will stop. My concern with Moore is that he dose not see the open man. He has missed Smith several time because he was looking at a WR that was not open.

The funny thing is he was great at that in previous years.

Moore will be starting next week. Just watched the game. Yes he made a couple of bad decisions in the late 3rd and 4th quarter. But he had players dropping balls too. He 6-16 should have been 9-16. Hard to have a passing game when Davidson is calling run-run-pass.

Moore did fine the pass that got intercepted was on him and the fumbles was all his. But it doesnt warrant him being benched next week. It also did look like he hurt his leg on his last play.

You've gone from trade for Vick to start Moore in the space of 12 hours?

Over react much?

Then you don't have a solid understanding of the game of football.

A QB isn't solely measured by his completion ratio or any other number crap.

Moore has the football IQ of a little league RG.

He locks onto 1 WR in each play-never going through his progressions, he makes poor decisions, and to top it off, he has a strong, erratic arm.

Do you know what happens when you combine those things?

0-2.

His 6-16 should have been 5-16 since the DR catch should have been ruled incomplete but we got a play off in time.

Except for the tempo, pass protection, an honest-to-God sustained drive, # of completions, etc etc

It's not Pickles fault we decided it was an omg awesome idea to try and sweep Stewart on 4th and goal from the one.

You guys can try and throw stats around all you'd like, but the entire offense looked a lot better once Clausen subbed in. Hell, even if Clausen was exactly on par with Moore (he was better), one is a rental, the other isn't and needs experience. And, to boot, the rental isn't taking the team anywhere at all.
