Overreact Much?

Play calling was totally different when Clausen was in then when Moore was in. Clausen worked in a hurry up offense. Moore was working under a regular offense.

Sorry but compare apples to apples not apples to oranges. I'm more concerned with our secondary and offensive line than I am of Moore.

this is true.. Clausen had a few things to his advantage.. 1 major one that I'll be interested to see is how he plays when a defense is game planning for him, not Moore.. on top of that, how he plays without hurrying up. he also had more opportunities to throw..

what he did do was go through his progressions, made smart plays, and showed a confidence I didn't really feel from Moore..

all anyone can do at this point is speculate.. if we start Pickles for the next 5 games, we have no idea what we will see..

the one benefit I agree with is he will get experience in a year before a lockout.. it may be much needed...

I happen to like the fact that we have a QB with an attitude; it’s called swagger, something the Panthers have never had at the QB position and it’s tough for some people to swallow it!

where have u been the past 8 years? Jake played with fire he just started to suck, but u cant say he didnt play with swagger without completed your sentences with "but I also have no idea when it comes to football."

Clausen is the only bright hope for this team right now. I don't think I've ever been around this many Panther fans who just seem like they're fed up or just don't care anymore(the Board and the few in Real-life).

I know we joke around with saying "Fox has lost this team" or at least I do...but I'm starting to think that maybe "Richardson has lost this fanbase".

Moore's confidence looks shot, and it appears that he overthinks when dropping back to pass. At 0-2, the season is not lost. If there is chemistry that Clausen can develop with the offense that can work, I'm all for trying it now, as opposed to being 2-8, and deciding to try it then, with the season already mailed in. Just my opinion.

No, Jake was a nice guy that got excited when he won but that isn't swagger! Swagger is when you walk into a place and you demand respect, Jake never did that, Swagger is when you know you are the man / woman...like showing up on campus with a crown and a limo as somone pointed out earlier...Jake was anything but Swagger! Jimmy; now Jimmy has swagger he demands attention just riding the pine!

And you're right, you have no idea when it comes to football!

Here I'll link what swagger means for you!

there has been more than enough time to make a solid conclusion on our FO.. at least with our coaches..

I will be more surprised if people weren't feeling fed up...

I really have no idea how anyone saw anything different from Moore to Clausen. Moore didn't look shell shocked. He looked the same before and after his int and fumble. There were just a couple passes that were dropped that wouldve really given us good field position to score a TD or at least a FG. If Rosario made his catch, that would've been a TD and people wouldn't be calling for Matt's head. If the receiver (forget who) caught that first down pass, Matt wouldve looked better. Really Matt looked decent up till that interception. I think after that he was just trying to make something happen but no one was open and the line wasn't that good. I think next week Moore should be given a chance to redeem himself before sticking with Clausen the rest of the season. I think Fox owes him at least that much after what happened last year. We benched Jake game 1 of last year and he started 10 more games after that. So thats not out of the realm of reality.

oh...is everyone forgetting that awful fumble of matt's? that was one of the most pathetic things i have seen from any QB ever.

lol remember Jake?

He shouldnt have played cause of the injury and shoulda been back this week, that was a mistake

And 2 Davidson need to stop them dumb ass i-formation playaction calls on 3rd and 7. The plays called in NYG was better IMO, besides us not running in the redzone in the 4th, it was better. I dont remember too many calls like no why would you run that. We had better offense success, the INT's in the redzone just killed us

Rip needs to tell Matt to stop looking for the big play even if they call it that way. That goes with the i-formation playaction. That play is designed to pick up 15 yards. This is 2008 poo. We in 2010

Clausen looked much better than Matt did, and actually it seemed like the team had more fire when Matt was pulled and Jimmy came in.

As for benching Jake and then starting 10 games after that; I think Fox has learned his lesson from that last year!
