Oh, and DeAngleo is averaging 3 yards a pop this year. That ain't b/c of Moore.

Actually, yeah, it kind of is. If the passing game is non-existent, then the opposing D puts more men in the box to stop the run...derp.

I like Moore. And I want Moore to be a starter. And I want Moore to be a starter for us. And with that in mind, I think the best thing for him is to be benched. He is totally shell-shocked from the abuse he took week one, and if you leave him in and allow him to take punishment from the D and hate from the stands, then he will continue to regress until he becomes the next David Carr.

For the good of Moore's career, bench him.

Play calling was totally different when Clausen was in then when Moore was in. Clausen worked in a hurry up offense. Moore was working under a regular offense.

Sorry but compare apples to apples not apples to oranges. I'm more concerned with our secondary and offensive line than I am of Moore.

those were major issues as well but all of it needs to be fixed.

clausen is better than moore, though. we'll find out soon enough or at least i hope so. i just feel now that we are only wasting our time trying to see if matt has it. clausen has a higher ceiling and the team is most likely going to be his anyways, so why not just go ahead and give it to him.

this is a growing year. let him grow with the other young ones. it's not like moore gives a better chance to win anyway. if anything, clausen does.

Stewart was getting 5 a carry. But it kind of hard to get yards when you call run run pass. Moore wasnt shell shocked. Moore was throwing the ball when able. To many dropped passes with a few quetionable throws. But not enough to bench him.

5 yards a carry...eight times per game. WTF is Davidson thinking?

Moore is catching a lot of heat. The defense was worse than Moore imo. Playcalling was horrific.....again. Moore shouldn't have thrown that pick...the playcall was horrible though bunching Smith inbetween the other WRs. Too many defensive bodies who don't respect the other WRs were put in one area around Smith based on the setup. As Rhode said, they knew we had no weapons and it showed on that pick. Not sure that gets picked if the defender respected the guys who he was responsible for.

It actually has a lot to do with Matt! If he would stop over/under throwing recievers he would open the D up so the run game could function!

All these people complaining about the line and the recievers tickle me! Whats the avg time in the NFL for a QB to survey the field and get rid of the ball? Something like 3 seconds?! While the O-line hasn't looked GREAT, they certainly aren't as bad as some people are try to say, he has time to throw the ball...he just isn't doing it! As for the WR's how can you pin any of this on them? They are getting open and doing what they are supposed to be doing...Matt isn't getting them the ball! Stop making excuses for him, it all started with PRESEASON MEANS NOTHING! I accepted that, but sorry it isn't preseason anymore Alice!

If the receivers would have caught the easy passes yesterday maybe the defense would fear them. Clausen overthrew more passes yesterday than Moore did.

Clausen looked better? maybe cuz his passes were much safer with screens and short passes out of the backfield. i have more confidence in Moore right now, our line needs to do their job for once and put defenders on their asses so our run game can develop. Drop passes and non-full effort by Smith on some plays does not help Moore's cause.

No one is saying Moore hasn't played poorly. There are a lot of other guys playing poorly that deserve just as much of the blame. 2 weeks in a row the D has been pathetic.....that imo is biggest issue since playing D and running is what this team is suppose to be about.

Seen worse from Jake. Moore was trying to throw it away which he should have just taken the sack he will learn from that.

Awesome. Considering everything he needs to (still!) learn from, he'll be up to almost not terrible by the end of the season.

I realize you don't want to play Clausen, but Moore hasn't looked like an NFL QB since last season.

i kept replaying that and i don't agree at all. he allowed that ball to pop out of his hand with no one touching his arm or the ball. there was no forward motion. it didn't look at all like he was going to throw it.

he won't be given a chance to learn from that anyway..not as a panther, that is.
