Bullshit yes I have. If you read my other threads I defended his pick, I defended the missed snap, I said I thought he has a mistake-free game yesterday, felt he got the chance to score a touchdown taken away from him after he drove us down the field, and I am all for him starting on Sunday.

And to answer your question, I don't know what our current Panther players and coaches think of him but neither do you. But I do know how other coaches have felt about him from doing my research and what their complaints were against him in the past. And as unfair as it is to judge him by his past, he had to have behaved in a certain way to draw that kind or reputation, and whether he or you like it or not, outside the Jimmy cheerleaders here, that IS what the rest of the NFL thinks of him and IT IS HIS responsibility to CHANGE that image.

So considering that, maybe he's not doing anything to damage his reputation any further, but he sure as heck has not done anything to prove those crticis wrong yet either! And this didn't help.

Maybe I should, but I am not wondering that based on this one tweet. I have been wondering about his attitude ever since it was addressed before the draft just like a lot of other people, coaches, and team managers. I have done plenty of research on Jimmy, watched film of him in college, even though I could care less about college football. In fact I don't think I have spent this much time re-searching any other NFL player.

So again. I re-state. I have very, very high hopes for Jimmy, which is why I'm not going to be easily pleased by him or condone any kind of behavior that could put him in a position to tarnish his image or reputation.

My reaction wasn't so bad till a couple of guys here had a problem with me just taking a jab in a joking manner at him. The amount of support the fans are giving this guy before he does anything is kind of silly.

I credit him for what he did with Notre Dame as far as college football goes. I credit him for NOTHING in the NFL yet. NOTHING. I don't credit him for what he could potentially, hopefully, maybe do. I want to see it. What's wrong with that? And what's wrong with me not wanting this kid to get even more headlines negative headlines which I promise you he will have if he continues to act the way he did in college.

I'd rather this team address it before the national media has to. You guys may be taking my comments in the form of an attack on Jimmy, but really, I truly say them with Jimmy's best interest in mind.
