I say "we" when referring to the professional sports teams that I covet as much as the next guy does, but some of you guys have a little bit too much of a sensationalized sense of self worth when it comes to your team and it's players. They don't owe you poo. And this is coming from a guy who damn near cried when we lost to the Pats in the SB, and who doesn't have the emotional capacity to make love to his wife when the Panthers lose on Sundays. I love me some Panthers. LOVE LOVE LOVE ME SOME PANTHERS. But these guys do have lives. Believe it or not, even Peyton Manning probably takes personal time to watch HBO's amazing list of original programming.

That being said, Jimmy should see "The Town". Watched it last night, pretty decent flick.

For christ's sake, the kid is just going out to see a movie. Do you really think he should be studying film 24/7? It's not even like he's doing that before gameday or skipping practice or any variety of worse situations. Is the kid not allowed two hours without studying/thinking about football?

Your heads are so far up your own asses it's simply incredible.

And again I think some of you fail to see the context of my point. We are not talking about just any QB, on any day of the week, on any team going to the movies. We are talking about a rookie, who has been criticized for not being mature, on the day of his announcement as an NFL starter, in the middle of a QB controversy, on a team that's 0-2. The entire panther fan base, including myself have been on the edge of our seats waiting to hear what would happen today about the QB situation, and Jimmy is nonchalantly Twitting about going to the movies. Who gives a f**k? Now you all tell me, where have you seen that type of attitude before?

That's why I have a problem with it. Not that some NFL QB decides to go to a movie. I'm talking about appropriate behavior for appropriate circumstances. On any other day it would not have bothered me so bad. And I really can't fathom how some of you can think that this is appropriate.

You can say what you want about me, cause I'm done with this argument. But I strongly, strongly disagree with this one and I believe I have a right to speak out on it.....again...CONSIDERING THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

PS: And yes they do owe their fans some respect just like we owe them. He should be mature enough to realize his fans are probably a bit more concerned about their team, who their QB is going to be next week, than what movie he's going to go watch. At least I am.

And for a DVD. I watched the Clash of the Titans remake last week. I liked it, much better than the original. Got rid of that damn mechanical owl, that was a plus.

Loved it. That damn owl still made a brief cameo though. I got the Blu Ray and the Krakken scene murdered my subwoofer. Oh well. Excuse to get a bigger one for Christmas. :)
