He's a great coordinator. Head coach, not so much. There's a big difference there big guy...

Sorry, didn't know my fly was open.Dude we don't spend money on players, why do you think we would on a coach?I wouldn't want him anyways!!!The Steelers have been the same over and over because of Dick LeBeau.I think Tomlinson has won as many titles as Cowher!!

I never said we would spend money on a coach. I simply stated that Charlie Weiss is certainly not going to be our head coach. And Tomlinson? lol

Cowher will more than likely be our coach next year, but not the second half of this year.

He wants to coach again but with his wife being gone now he isn't going to leave his daughters (which go to school here). He will take less money so he can stay home! And come on people, open your eyes and it will all fall into place. Cowher wanted to coach again last year, he made that public knowledge then when it was announced that Fox would keep his job one more year but would not get an extention all of the sudden Cowher didn't wanna coach again?! It certainly make good sense!

It took awhile, but finally someone saw the personal side of this issue even though some say "screw" him, nice! I am married almost 40 years...you yung-uns hopefully will know what a bond of marriage is...let the man have his time. He'll make his mind up, but I cannot imagine what he's going through...but I'd bet coaching comes, like about 40th on the priority list for awhile! I hope that we can at least talk with him at some point, but we are getting short on the time issue IMHO.

Thats a good point but, Cowher will be willing to give up a lot of what he previously ask for to coach again. There is no chance he is leaving the Carolinas as he is the only family his daughter has left so if he wants to coach again it will be here and it will be for a lot less than what people think!

That's some major hyperbowl, but I'm sure you convinced yourself of this from the sounds of it.
