Time To Interview Cowher?

Fox isn't going anywhere during this season. JR's example of great money management would be spoiled if he fired him and paid big to replace him. Now if he fired him and temporarily replaced him with an in house guy then maybe that could happen. Na Fox will be here all season.

Cowher will more than likely be our coach next year, but not the second half of this year.

He wants to coach again but with his wife being gone now he isn't going to leave his daughters (which go to school here). He will take less money so he can stay home! And come on people, open your eyes and it will all fall into place. Cowher wanted to coach again last year, he made that public knowledge then when it was announced that Fox would keep his job one more year but would not get an extention all of the sudden Cowher didn't wanna coach again?! It certainly make good sense!

Thought Cowher would only coach where he has total control over all football decisions. Don't see that happening with the Panthers at all. Who ever coaches here would have to be fine being part of a team and continuing what is already here. That is why it is much more likely to be an assistant or no name coach despite all the money issues.

Thats a good point but, Cowher will be willing to give up a lot of what he previously ask for to coach again. There is no chance he is leaving the Carolinas as he is the only family his daughter has left so if he wants to coach again it will be here and it will be for a lot less than what people think!
