Why I'm not sad for Moore.

I don't feel sympathy for him. He knows full well that lack of production will cost you your job. It's how he got the start anyhow.

But I do think his benching is a price he's having to pay for what amounts to half his poor performance and half the fault of fundamental problems with our Coaching and Front Office.

If Clausen can come out and own this offense, then maybe he'll expose Moore as having more blame here... but I have been saying all along Fox set Moore up to fail. I guess Moore just couldn't elevate this lack of support.

However, I don't know if Clausen can either.

yea our o-line is pretty freakin horrendous. i blame them and our garbage receiving corps for matt's performance :D

I'd like to agree... I reeeealy would... Moore's an underdog and I hoped it would work out with him this year...

But his reads have been terrible. He's let a wide open Smitty float out in space several times in the past two games.

Wide open Smitty's that don't get thrown at is reason for a benching alone. If 89 gets separation, you better have that ball in the air.
