Stick with Moore! The season is NOT over~

Wait for what? And don't use Carr for your example. That's the best you "sit him" people have. What does he possibly learn sitting and watching Matt Moore play? Not a lot. If Clausen plays, he struggles but learns first hand.

Plenty have sat and done fine, and plenty have started right away and done fine. It all depends on the QB and how you use him in those first games. I think Clausen has the moxie to make it through the struggle period.

While I do agree with you for the most part there is a lot of insight that can be gained by seeing the plays from the outside.

I have heard Carr was "Shell Shocked" Joey Harrington was rushed....MAYBE they just SUCKED too!! Sure the pressure was hard on them. IF a QB can come in during hard times and succeed you may have a true QB for the future.

Strongly agree with you! Not to mention, neither of those two teams had an established running game as the Panthers do. Put Clausen in there, have him hand it off the bulk of the time and put in a pass here and there (nothing too long, just quick/easy routes)...

If Clausen is put in there, he isn't going to be expected to carry the team to a victory as Carr was (being he was their first overall franchise pick) but just not to loose it. See what the kid can do... it really can't be any worse than Moore's 4 INTs, 2 Fumbles and overall 40% completions...

You learn in the film room not on the field. Clausen needs more time. Its unfortunate he has no one better ahead of him to learn from but throwing him into the fire now will not work out any better in the short term and may hurt in the long term.
you learn doing both.

getting on the field is the best way you grow.

having the rook QB carrying the clipboard is old school and a really antiquated way of doing things that in recent history hasn't been shown to be any more effective than getting the QB out there.

you can throw the examples of rodgers and carr out there but i'll throw out a whole lot more that show getting that rookie out there can and will work, and it isn't all recent examples either.

Are you saying Clausen = Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Peyton Manning, etc.

I think he is more of a project.

you really think Clausen is more of a project than those QB's? WOW! I think there are lots of football analyst that would disagree with you. Anyone can tell you Clausen is ready to start, he played in a pro style offense in college and had a worse O-line than what we have now. Clausen WILL be a great QB, he is our Francise, he is our FUTURE! Stop hatin and pay attention, you will see when that kid hits the field he flat out KNOWS how to play football and is light years ahead of Flacco!

There's an old saying in North Carolina — I know it's in Texas, probably in North Carolina — that says, fool me once, shame on — [pauses] — shame on you. Fool me — [pauses] — You can't get fooled again.

The Moore I think about it the Moore I think he is the son of the Devil. His father Jerry Jones allowed him to come to Carolina to torture us. Think GOD we all have JC! Just look at his initials JC....Plus he was able to be near Touchdown Jesus for all those years. I even thought I saw white doves flying over the stadium today when he walked out on the field.

Pray to the pickle!
