Not trolling just dont want Clausen out there yet. If I was trolling I would have suggested Pat White. Clausen needs to learn on the sideline not on the field. If he plays we will defiantly lose 8 or 8 games because of him and the damage to his sychi isnt worth it in my opinion. He isnt Peyton.

I don't see the big problem with starting him and letting him get some experience. I didn't follow Notre Dame so I can't say how he played in college except for the highlights I've seen on TV/the internet but from what I've seen he's pretty solid. I can't see a reason to think he'd be worse in his first year than Matt Ryan, Josh Freeman, Joe Flacco, Mark Sanchez etc.
