So... the Bears

I liked the Bears in the past. The reality is they're old on D and few bad games from Cutler away from collapsing.

Mmmhmmm

I see Chris Harris is talking about "monster is back"

Good luck the rest of the season. See you in October

Looking forward to it! I'll be at the game. :D

Glad my friends team is doing well.

I remember those days....

It is waaaaaaaay too early for anybody to get puffychested or too down about their team.

The Giants of recent vintage, a team I wrote off early, proves that is a dangerous game to play.

The recent incarnation of the Broncos being an example of the opposite.

'tis a long season, but I am very happy 2 games in to the season.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Da Bears have won two games this year, and look much better than last year. Still don't know how they will hold up down the road, but the NFC is looking pretty wide open right now with the collapse of the Vikings and the Cowboys.

I am legitimately scared of what Peppers is going to do to our O-line if they continue to play like this....and trust me he will be 'motivated'.

The Bears beat a bad Detroit team (didn't really beat them, Johnson got screwed) and a overhyped, unorganized, lazy Dallas team. I wouldn't get too excited yet.

I guess the same could be said for the Saints who barely beat a struggling Vikings team with issues that mirror the problems in Dallas and also were missing star players and then barely beating a bad 49ers team that was handled by Seattle in week two, 31-6. At least the Bears always beat the Saints

Bears are 3 point dogs this week at home against a very good "already 2010 SB Champs on paper" Packers team. Nobody is picking them to win and that's fine because this will be a real test to see where they are at and where they are heading. If they can pull off a "W" I think they should start getting the credit for it rather than see the talking heads spitting the same useless garbage they did for the Dallas game and stating that Dallas shot themselves in the foot rather than the Bears beating a loaded team on the road. if it's a close "L" than I can live with that until the rematch.

Bears fans, I haven't seen any of the games just yet. Who is starting in the secondary and how does the offense look? Serious question, no smart assed-ness

The offense is looking good but run game needs work, they are using Forte as a receiver quite a bit(3 tds already). Cutler is spreading the ball around nicely despite running for his life he puts up good numbers. The secondary looked great against Detroit until that last drive in giving up the "nullified" td to Calvin Johnson. Against Dallas they gave up a lot of passing yards as Dallas was trying to catch up but only managed to give up one offensive TD to Gronkowski. Nobody has really run on their defense yet. Gay Bay's passing game on MNF will be a huge test.

Jay Cutler 2010(so far) 649 yds, 5 tds, 1 int, 121.2 passer rtg
