Jimmy was one of the most hyped and highly regarded QBs coming out of the draft. he has good work ethic, and is willing to learn whatever is thrown at him. i think any coach would be happy to have him to build around.

Yeah, but a lot of people were. Including me... but no one knew it would turn out the way it did. At the time, Moore was playing lights out wayyyyy better than Delhomme. And this league is all about what have you done for me lately. And lately, Moore has sucked donkey balls... so now we'll get an early chance at seeing what #2 can do.

I've reached the point (as should everyone else) where I've realized that this season isn't going to be all that great for us. That's alright. I just want to see the young guys come in and produce.

Next season, the house will be cleaned. Hurney will stay though, which I wouldn't want him to leave, he's done a great job for us over the years. And with that being said, I don't think you'll see too many guys leave the locker room because Hurney put most of them there and it's a huge part of the philosophy that JR has built here in the Carolinas.

And Jim Zorn... I'll just jump off the BofA building if that happens.

Unless he plays lights out, there's a very decent chance that our new head coach post-Fox (Jim Zorn? Danny Crossman?) isn't going to like him. Remember that new coaching staffs like to bring in their own guy, especially at quarterback, unless the guy already there is great.

So I think it's entirely possible that we'll end up drafting Andrew Luck/Ryan Mallett/Terrelle Pryor with our top 5 pick next season.

Why don't you see any threads saying: Good foresight guys! The coaches really care about the future of this team! Jerry Richardson is being very unselfish thinking about the future of this team and the NFL and not just about winning before his world membership expires! John Fox is experimenting trying to find a winning combination and not just spending his time in his office browsing craigslist for jobs!

Yes, unfortunately no superbowl for us this year but I am excited about the future of this team.
