Thoughts of letting go of John Fox? R you kdding me?

John Fox, arguably the best coach in the NFC... Superbowl appearance, NFC South Championship, 2 to be exact, two NFC Conference championship games and an NFC Championship. Not to mention a guaranteed playoff run every time his team is healthy and there are thoughts are getting rid of John Fox. Yeah, be stupid if you want..... But its your team. I mean, your 12-5, winning season and something to build on, unlike a lot of teams who wish they could build on that instead of just trying to get even a few wins alone.

But.... if you insist. You know what, I can guarantee that if you keep Jake Delhomme, John Fox and Julius Peppers that this team will get to a minimum of at least the NFC Championship next year. Bottom line, John Fox is a very good coach with a very good staff that has a chance to redeem themselves and win it all next year. And I seem to be the only one that thinks they will.

Remember, I'm a person who nearly had my heart jumping in my throat because of John Fox's game plan and Jake Delhomme's abilities back in Houston in 2004 at the SB. I was there, I know first hand what this Panther team can do. Ask Tom Brady, ask Harrison, Seymour, Givens and those other guys.

Trade proposition.

Bill Belichick to the Panthers for John Fox to the Pats.

yay or nay?

Its not 2003 anymore? so what, my team last went to the SB in 04 and won it... But made it back in Feb 08 with the same CORE guys so what are you saying? and as far as the comment right above me. f*ck you because I respect for this team. Maybe I see something in this team that stands out to me. Nucleus of a dynasty if not for a few things go wrong here and there over the last few years. I don't come on here and disrespect Carolina or anything, hell I even like Carolina so go jerk off you lil fagot with that comment. How dare you? I like Carolina like I said, so I have that right to share just my thoughts and opinions

Same core guys? Sorry my friend, but the addition of Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Stallworth stretching the field; you all went to the Superbowl because of arguably the greatest offense ever fielded. A lot of those core guys have lost a step, particularly on defense.

I want fox to stay here. He is one of the best. And i agree that he has gotten too set in his ways but i feel that all he has to do is make the scheme and the game plan fit the players and talent we have instead of trying to make us like the 03 team because that team is gone. The current one can be better but he has to adjust the defense to the lineman we have now, not the one we had in 03. The 03 defensive line could get pressure with 4 and play zone in the back 7. He has to adapt to our players make our defense more aggressive, utilize the great linebackers we have.

Every year, some faction of this fanbase wants an assistant fired...FIRE TURGO, FIRE HENNING, FIRE CROSSMAN!!! But who exactly is the common denominator? FOX!!! This is Fox's offense and defense! We have Jake because Fox loves him. There has been no effort made to upgrade the QB position. And one blind shot in the dark last year with Carr doesn't qualify...Fox knew Carr wouldn't challenge his favorite son or even be given a chance.

The fans have a right to be for whomever they choose, and Fox is high on the list, but not for me. His loyalty to players who couldn't make an NFL roster outside of Charlotte is a big flaw. Player development under his regime is even worse. I suspect there won't be many if any changes made this offseason, and with a tougher schedule, the ceiling for wins with this group is around 8. He's an avg coach with a slightly below avg QB leading the team.
